THE WONDER YEARS

Regarded by many as one of the top 100 best TV shows... ever! For example Rolling Stone ranks it at #63 and Hollywood Reporter at #56 - and then it includes shows like Game Of Thrones, The Big Bang Theory, Friends and Star Trek. From its hauntingly soulful theme song, Joe Crocker's version of the Beatles song With A Little Help From My Friends...

... to its amazingly talented cast, to its masterful handling of sensitive issues, to its genius use of original 50's, 60's and 70's mood songs and music, this is a timeless nostalgia trip for everyone, regardless of what age you grew up in. For instance who can ever forget their own first kiss, something expressed so adoringly in the pilot episode of the series

In its six year run (1988-1993) this ultimate coming-of-age series also turned out to be the springboard for the careers of many young entertainers who would later become famous in own right, like David Schwimmer, Juliette Lewis, Alicia Silverstone and Seth Green, to name but a few. Even singer Robin Thicke appeared as young boy in a couple of the episodes. And speaking of talent, portraying the roles of the four pivotal characters throughout the series were of course:

Fred Savage as the quintessential every-boy, Kevin Arnold

Josh Saviano as Kevin's best friend, Paul Pfeiffer

Danica McKellar as the love of Kevin's life, Winnie Cooper

and Jason Hervey as Kevin's pesky older brother, Wayne
