During the late eighties this was a very popular American TV sitcom starring British actor Christopher Hewett (back row, 2nd from left) in the title role. It ran from 1985 to 1990 over six seasons. At the time the show's child actors became household names and regularly appeared on the covers of virtually every teen magazine.
