Another series that used the 'middle' theme was simply called The Middle. However, this show focused on the plights of a typical lower middle class American family. Although it ran for almost ten years (2009-2018) it never gained in popularity to the same extent that Malcolm In The Middle did. Consequently neither did any of its child stars. They were:
